Amy’s character in the film quit her work to spend more time at home with her child. She starts to feel weird, though, shortly. She observes changes in her own body, including a strong appetite and keen teeth. She begins even to behave like a dog.
The film is based on a book written by Rachel Yoder. It discusses how being a mother might provide difficulties and how it might transform someone. The film is a different narrative since it combines lighthearted and sad events.
Marielle Heller is directing Nightbitch. The cast calls for Scoot McNairy, Mary Holland, and Zoë Chao. December 6, 2024, will see the film open in theatres.
