This weekend the Foo Fighters have chosen not to take part at the Soundside Music Festival. This choice follows the disclosure by the lead singer of the band Dave Grohl that he lately had a baby outside of his marriage.
Among the major performers at the Bridgeport, Connecticut festival was the Foo Fighters. Though the band declared on social media that they would not be able to make it, fans were eager to see them. They urged attendees to consult the festival website for further information.
Early this month Dave Grohl sent a personal note. He declared he is attempting to rebuild trust with his family and wants to be a good parent to his new child. For him and his dear ones, this has been a difficult period.
As of now, the event planners have not stated who will replace the Foo Fighters. Still scheduled to appear are more musicians including Fleet Foxes, Noah Kahan, and Glow Grooves.
Though unhappy, fans know the band made the right decision. The Foo Fighters should return on stage not too far off.
