Haley Joel Osment recently discussed his experience collaborating on Bruce Willis’s film “The Sixth Sense.” Released 25 years ago, this film was really popular. Osment has many wonderful recollections from that period; he was only a child when he acted in it.
Osment claimed that on site Willis was kind and encouraging. He recalled how Willis would occasionally phone him out of the blue—even years after the film came out. Willis would leave voicemails intended for a quick check-in hello. Osment also said they visited Japan together to advertise the film.
In “The Sixth Sense,” Willis portrayed a child psychologist assisting a boy who can see ghosts, Osment’s character. With six Oscar nominations, the film was quite popular. Working with Willis had a significant impact on Osment as Willis was a major star and he managed everything in a cool and professional manner.
Osment also mentioned that he hasn’t lately spoken with Willis, particularly in light of the news of Willis’s health problems. Willis’s family said he would be retiring in 2022 because to a medical ailment.
Osment’s memories of working with Willis are generally quite favourable. On and off the set, he valued their friendship and encouragement.
