Well-known NBC “Today” show host Hoda Kotb has declared she will be departing. She spent 26 years with NBC and co-hosted “Today” for more than five years.
Hoda sent a letter to her colleagues and announced her choice of the program. Turning sixty prompted her to consider experimenting with new activities and spending more time with her kids, Hope and Haley.
Hoda will remain on the show till January 1, 2025. She will still be employed by NBC in a separate capacity following that. Over the years, she appreciated the support of her colleagues and viewers. She stated it was a difficult choice but the correct one for her family and her.
Other staff members as well as Savannah Guthrie, her co-host, show their love and encouragement for Hoda. Though they are glad for her new path, many acknowledge they will miss her.
For years, many people’s mornings consisted of Hoda. Many will be deprived of her friendly demeanour and commitment. We hope her new experiences bring everything the finest.
