In his endless interest to aggregate the ideal supply of round and sparkling acorns, the fretful saber-toothed squirrel, Scrat, coincidentally triggers a geologic chain response of stunning magnitude. Subsequently, Manny gets isolated from Ellie and their defiant adolescent girl, Peaches, set loose on an enormous lump of chunk of ice with Diego, Sid, and his fiery grandma, Granny. Yet, to exacerbate the situation, the confounded sailors coincidentally find a definitive dread of the oceans – the climate beaten savage privateer, Captain Gutt, who needs to transform them into his slaves.
