Originally Kelly Taylor from the “Beverly Hills, 90210,” Jennie Garth has discussed her regrets. She claimed she regrets she hadn’t participated in the relaunch running from 2008 to 2013.
Jennie said at a ’90s Con event in Florida that a friend of a friend persuaded her to sign up for the relaunch. Saying no at that point seemed difficult. She still regrets her choice even though the concerned individuals were friendly.
Other original cast members also offered their opinions: Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris. Though he felt the first show was sufficient, Brian enjoyed the concept of the relaunch. Gabrielle found it shocking they even created a new show.
Originally titled “Beverly Hills, 90210,” the 1990s saw great popularity for it. It tracked a set of Beverly Hills buddies as they matured. Though it lacked the same impact, the relaunch aimed to revive some of that enchantment.
Only Jennie, Shannen Doherty, and Tori Spelling returned for the relaunch from among the original performers. Later, they joined other original cast members for another 2019 revival where they portrayed versions of themselves.
Jennie’s narrative reveals that second thoughts about decisions may strike even performers. It reminds us that saying no is OK occasionally.
