Arthur Fleck is just a wannabe stand-up comic and a unsound loner which causes him to laugh uncontrollably when he’s nervous, and sometimes gets him into bad situations. The story takes place in Gotham City,1981. As he walks the streets of Gotham City, Arthur Fleck as an unsucccesful comedian sees a connection. Arthur has two different personality -the one who paints for his day job as a clown, and the another who projects during a futile plan to feel a bit like he’s part of the world around him. Being disregarded and mistreated by the society although all he wants is to be accepted by others, Arthur embarks on a downward spiral of bloody crime leading him to evolve into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
