On the “Jamie Kern Lima Show,” Julianne Hough recently discussed her marriage to Brooks Laich. She said she found their time together to be unique. She felt protected and supported throughout their marriage. Brooks gave her consistent surroundings and helped her to reconnect with her younger self.
As time went on, Julianne discovered they both needed different things. Her improved self-awareness and questioning of her ideas started her to shift her views and therefore affect their relationship. Their relationship suffered as Brooks was also undergoing personal disruptions following the end of his hockey career.
In 2020 Julianne and Brooks split apart, then completed their divorce in 2022. Though they live different lives, Julianne remembers their time together with affection. She thinks they were important to one another throughout that phase of their life.
Julianne also said that their trip together gave to her valuable information about love, development, and self-discovery. She stressed that even though their paths varied, the experiences they shared were essential in moulding who she is now. Julianne expressed gratitude for the memories and the personal progress that came from their connection, noting that sometimes, people come into our lives to help us grow and change, even if they are not meant to stay forever.
