Four youngsters are suing Kanye West and his business. They claim they worked on a project for him and were humiliated. The teenagers wish the court to keep their names hidden. Should their names be made public, they fear harassment.
According to their lawyer, disclosing their names could cause emotional damage to the teenagers. Already harassed is one of the teenagers. Should their names be public, the lawyer thinks it would be simple for others to locate and harass them and their families.
The complaint claims a hostile work environment, forced labour, and an unfair pay system. The teenagers also claim their sexual orientation and nationality caused them bullying. One young person claimed that for a project, Kanye’s wife emailed them a link to pornographic material.
Whether or if the court should keep the teenagers’ names hidden is yet under debate. The case continues as the teenagers pursue justice and defence from more damage.
