Played Dutch in the “Karate Kid” films, Chad McQueen went away at the age of 63. Steve McQueen, the great actor, was his father.
Complications from an injury he experienced in 2020 caused organ failure, which claimed Chad. He never totally recovered from the accident.
Apart from performing, Chad drove a race car. In racing and acting, he followed the road taken by his father. Known in the “Karate Kid” films as Dutch, a Cobra Kai dojo member, he was He also performed in other films including “Red Line” and “New York Cop.”
Loving racing, Chad also founded McQueen Racing, a firm creating custom motorcycles and cars. Chase and Madison, his kids, operate the business right now.
On Instagram, his family sent a statement highlighting his love for his family and racing enthusiasm. As they recall and honour his life, they want seclusion.
