For 10 ideal years, youthful Mija has been guardian and steady friend to Okja – a monstrous creature and a significantly greater companion – at her home in the mountains of South Korea. However, that changes when family-possessed, global combination Mirando Corporation takes Okja for them.
They transports her to New York, where a picture fixated and self-advancing CEO has large designs for Mija’s closest companion. With no specific arrangement except for determined in plan, Mija sets out on a salvage mission.
