At a Colorado high school volleyball game, Selena Gomez surprised students. While in town for the Telluride Film Festival, she came upon a student’s sign requesting her to perform the national anthem.
When Selena arrived, the students jumped for joy. She talked with the athletes on the sidelines and snapped pictures with them. Meeting her thrilled the students and their Dove Creek High School rival.
Selena discussed her experience on Instagram, saying, “They asked! Not sure, this is my first trip to Telluride! She thanked the school for letting her upload images of the volleyball teams.
For the students, this visit will be unforgettable. Selena looked delighted and excited about the game, making a day they would never forget.
