Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and his new sweetheart, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), join the fight when the detestable Decepticons recharge their longstanding conflict against the Autobots. Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) accepts that reviving antiquated Transformer Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy), when the head of the Autobots, may prompt triumph. That choice, notwithstanding, has crushing results; the conflict seems to tip for the Decepticons, prompting a climactic fight in Chicago.
